What I Do

An Independent Educational Consultant with a background in education, I pride myself on my ability to make meaningful connections with young people.

This is an exciting time of exploration, growth and self-discovery. By getting to know your student and what makes them special, we will highlight their uniqueness and build a compelling profile to present during the college application process.  I will work alongside your student through their college preparation journey.

It’s my goal to best position your child to have options from which to choose the right fit college where they will thrive.

Early High School Support

Early high school support is offered on an hourly consulting basis.

Rising 9th graders

Meeting prior to freshman year is an ideal time for an initial meeting. This allows us to work together to craft a four-year academic plan. While adjustments can be made, it’s critical to have a plan for the core academic coursework in high school to ensure students are best positioned to be competitive applicants.

This is also an ideal time to begin to strategize extracurricular activities, volunteer work, employment, and summer plans. Being intentional about the ways in which students use their time outside of school will benefit them during the application process.

9th and 10th graders

The first two years of high school will be a time of growth and exploration for students. Meeting in the fall and spring of these years will give us time to make sure students are on the right track in terms of course selection and extracurricular involvement.

Our time together will be devoted to academic advising, extracurricular guidance, and standardized test planning and preparation. I will share resources for tutoring and test prep services as needed.
